Convertible vehicle

The car has a roof which can be stacked away in the rear region (3) of the vehicle and side rod parts pass through apertures coverable by cladding parts (9). On the vehicle side, the cladding parts include several part sectors (7, 8) which can be operated individually depending on the degree of opening of the roof in the opening or closing direction.
