Transmission means especially for a unit type of engine with a V-belt type of automatic transmission provided with a drive pulley, a driven pulley and an endless V-belt fitted around said drive and driven pulley. Said drive and driven pulley and said endless V-belt are housed in a belt chamber formed by a transmission case and a transmission case cover provided on a side opening of said transmission case, wherein said transmission case cover defines an air passage around said driven pulley.
