Method for defining a corridor containing the predicted path of a vehicle

The method involves determining the future driving corridor from the wheel speeds of the vehicle wheels of one axis of the motor vehicle. Before determining the driving corridor at least the wheel speed of one vehicle wheel is subjected to a variable tire correction factor. The tire correction factor is only determined during approximately straight driving.
