The method involves digital transfer of an analogue measurement value to a controller (2) via an analogue-to-digital converter or ADC (18). The input of the ADC receives the sum of the measurement value and a correction value formed from the difference between the integrated measurement value and the integrated output signal. The ADC output signal transferred to the controller is integrated (22) in the controller before further processing.
