Air conditioner for a vehicle
DRIVE
June 20, 2001
This air conditioning unit for vehicles dispenses with the coolant collector/drier and uses a hygroscopic dry coolant in the form of refrigerating machine oil with a low damp content. The unit has only one evaporator and one condenser. This allows a reduction in the amount of coolant required. The cooling circuit can have a relatively small drier cartridge containing pure drying agent.
