The air compressor crankshaft drives auxiliary equipment via a belt drive. The torque of a generator when interacting with a load is regulated by an engine controller and a multifunction regulator so that when no or insufficient torque is being tapped the auxiliary drives on the generator drive belt retain a defined torque. The air compressor drive has a pinion on the crankshaft of an air compressor driven via a gear wheel by the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and the air compressor crankshaft drives auxiliary equipment via a belt drive. The torque of a generator (8) when interacting with a load is regulated by an engine controller (13) and a multifunction regulator so that when no or insufficient torque is being tapped the remaining auxiliary drives on the generator drive belt (7) retain a defined drive torque.",
