Distribution of air in the passenger compartment of a vehicle

The air diffuser for a motor vehicle interior has vents on its upper surface. A diffuser (14) is positioned between the upper surface and dashboard. The diffuser has a defrosting outlet (10) and ventilation openings (29a,b) at its top frontal region. The ventilation openings are oriented towards the passenger space and extend for the major part of the width of the dashboard.
