Steering lock for a vehicle
DRIVE
June 13, 2001
The steering lock includes an electromagnet (6) in the stator (1) which is co-axial with the rotor (4). The rotor has a stop which acts with another stop on the stator when the rotor is turned back to its initial position before the initial position is reached. The rotor can be shifted axially in the stator by the electromagnet against the spring load force.
