The present invention concerns a luminous lighter, particularly for motor vehicles, comprising a power body (4) forming a receptacle for a heating, luminous and removable cap (6), said cap (6) comprising a fixed part (14) and a mobile part (16) capable of being displaced axially with respect to said fixed part and inside said fixed part, the mobile part comprising a push button (22), the cap (6) further comprising a light guide (26) for propagating light transmitted to it when the cap is in place in the power body (4) from a light source (12) external to the cap. According to the invention, the light guide is an element of said fixed part (14) surrounding the push button (22).
