Condenser with integral receiver dryer

A condenser (10) includes a plurality of generally U-shaped fluid carrying tubes (12) having free ends and a manifold (14) matingly engaging the free ends of the tubes and having an interior chamber (30). The manifold (14) includes a receiver dryer (36) disposed in the interior chamber (30) and having a first fluid conduit wall (38) and a second conduit wall (40) extending axially to form a generally parallel first fluid passageway (41) and second fluid passageway (42) in fluid communication with the tubes and a dryer capsule (48) being disposed in the interior chamber (30) to dry fluid in the manifold (14).
