The air treatment system consists of a central unit (1) with distribution outlets and at least one duct (41) leading to ventilation nozzles (11) in one part of the vehicle passenger compartment and equipped with branches (8) delivering air to a second part of the compartment, e.g. towards the passengers' feet. The nozzles (11) are fitted with dividers (9) which control the distribution of the aid feed between the nozzles and branches, which are situated in a low-pressure zone of the duct and perpendicular to its main flow.
