Source
A switchable valve flap with at least one valve disk (2, 2a, 2b) arranged pivotably about a longitudinal axis in a housing part (1) for closing a valve opening (11) provided in the housing part (1) is characterized in that a rib element (4, 4a, 4b) aligned parallel to its longitudinal axis is formed on the upper side of the valve disk (2, 2a, 2b), the surface of which is inclined against an adjacent housing wall (20) and forms a hollow channel with this or the rib element (4b) of a second valve disk (2b). The free longitudinal edge (18) of the rib element (4, 4a, 4b) is held in a locking mechanism (7, 8) in the closed position of the valve disk (2, 2a, 2b). In the housing part (1), at least one opening (13) associated with an end face of the hollow channel is provided, which is connected to a pressure generator (14), by the triggering of which the rib element (4, 4a, 4b) is releasable from the locking mechanism (7, 8) under elastic deformation and the valve disk (2, 2a, 2b) is pivotable into the open position.
