Elastic gimbal suspension

The suspension suspends a vibrating component, such as an exhaust system, from a carrier. It has an elastomer spring between a carrier connection piece and a load connection piece for the component. The spring characteristic is anisotropic in the three directions in space. The spring may be pre-tensioned in the z and/or y direction.
