Method of identification and control of compontents of a system and apparatus for carrying out the method

The component command and identification system has a command unit connected to a bus, and having components feeding information on the bus. The address word on the bus connection has a number of bits (WF) defining a component group and a second number of bits (WG) allowing definition of a second component group. The second group provides a component group identifier choice within the first group set. An Independent claim is also included for the control system.
