The present invention provides a compact and inexpensive air-permeable cap and an outdoor lamp, automobile lamp and automobile electrical component comprising such an air-permeable cap. A novel air-permeable cap is provided comprising a closed-end cylindrical cover member (1), a substantially cylindrical body (2) fitted in the closed-end cylindrical cover member (1), and an air passage (3) formed between the inner wall of the closed-end cylindrical cover member (1) and the outer wall of the substantially cylindrical body (2) and between the bottom surface of the closed-end cylindrical cover member (1) and the lower end of the substantially cylindrical body (2), wherein the mounting portion (4) at which the air-permeable cap is mounted on the mounting opening (50a) of the housing (50) is formed at the top (2a) of the substantially cylindrical body (2).
