Flight guidance display used in aircraft cockpit and aircraft simulation system

The display indicates the ground (3) as a checker-board pattern or three-dimensionally, the representation resulting from the relative position of the geodetic coordinate system XG, YG, ZG w.r.t the aerodynamic axis system. The ground may include orientation points for the pilot. The primary control surfaces of the aircraft and their instantaneous deflections may also be displayed.
