Method for transmitting position information
DRIVE
May 23, 2001
A navigation service is provided by the navigation or positioning systems and transmits a position object to the electronic device via an interface. The position object has two parts, a program code written for execution by the electronic device, and a data part, used before the program part and contains the actual positional or spatial information and/or other information. The program part may generate a probability distribution function. Independent claims are included for a data carrier and for an electronic device.
