The light has a light housing (2) with a lighting medium carrier (13) carrying LEDs (12) as the lighting medium. At least one removably mounted light module (8) has several LEDs, a lighting medium carrier, a non-removable cladding (14) and a releasable electrical connection to the electricity supply. There can be at least two modules within the vehicle light that can be identical or different.
