The battery (10) has a housing that accepts individual accumulators (12, 12a-d), supporting them so that cooling air can circulate around the accumulators. The accumulators are placed in recesses in longitudinal support rails (30). These rails can then be stacked side-by-side and joined together by a fastening passing through holes (76) along the rails.
