"textContent": "## Spotify gets handy update\n\nOne of the biggest innovations in the Spotify app is the arrival of playlist folders to mobile devices. Until now, this feature was only available in the desktop version of Spotify. Playlist folders allow you to conveniently group different playlists, for example by genre, mood or activity. Using the plus menu in the app, you will soon be able to create and manage these folders directly on your smartphone as well.\n\nIn addition, Spotify's queue gets more flexibility. Users can now select and remove multiple songs from a playlist or queue simultaneously. This makes cleaning up long lists a lot faster than having to delete songs one by one.\n\nSpotify is also introducing a new button called 'Rearrange'. With it, you can change the order of songs in your queue with one tap. Previously, to do this you had to use the shuffle function multiple times in the hope of getting a better order. So the new option offers a more direct way to change your listening experience.\n\n### Rollout\n\nNot all the new features are available to everyone. The ability to select multiple songs at once becomes available to all users, but features like playlist folders and the new rearrange button are reserved for Spotify Premium subscribers.\n\nIn addition to the Android updates, Spotify has also announced improvements for iOS. Among other things, support for background downloads will be added there, a feature that Android users have been familiar with for years.\n\nThe rollout of the new features has now started. It may take some time before all users see the changes appear in their app.\n\nDownload\n\nSpotify: Music and podcasts\n\nDeveloper: Spotify AB\n\nPrice: Free",
