"textContent": "## Sony Xperia 1 VIII in new images\n\nThe Japanese manufacturer has come up with a new design for Sony's new high-end model. Earlier, news broke that the design of the Xperia 1 series is getting a makeover. And this is big news, as the brand has been using the same design for its devices for years. We are expecting the Sony Xperia 1 VIII this year and it will get the new design.\n\nThe new design is immediately recognisable by the new camera module, where the lenses are no longer placed vertically underneath each other. In the new camera module, you will find the cameras in a square area. In it, there are two lenses at the top and one more lens below. The design is somewhat reminiscent of the OnePlus 10 Pro. In the new renders, we can also see the front. No punch-hole appears to be chosen, as in previous images. The front camera will be placed in the screen bezels.\n\nAccording to the latest rumours, the new Sony Xperia 1 VIII will have a triple-camera with three 48-megapixel lenses. Here, the wide-angle lens is the same as in the Xperia 1 VII, while the main and telephoto lenses should be improved. When we will officially see the new Sony Xperia smartphone is unknown.\n\n**Via** X",
