"textContent": "## Leaked photos show design changes\n\nLive photos of a demo specimen have surfaced via an X account, presumably from a shop in Bangkok. The device differs in a number of ways from the Chinese Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition. While that version has a two-tone back, Xiaomi opts for a plain black design for the global variant, reminiscent of the retro look of Leica cameras.\n\nFurthermore, the Leica logo and text on the camera island are now placed vertically instead of horizontally. The Xiaomi logo has moved to the centre of the back in vertical orientation. The frame has a champagne colour to match the ring around the camera module. Engraved on the left side of the frame is the text \"LEICA CAMERA GERMANY\".\n\n### Specifications still unknown\n\nWhether the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi will carry the same specifications as the Chinese variant has not yet been confirmed. We will learn more about this Leitzphone and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the coming days.\n\n**Source** X",
