Behind the Blog: Our Second Anniversary Party!

This is Behind the Blog, where we share our behind-the-scenes thoughts about how a few of our top stories of the week came together. This week, we have a slightly shorter than usual entry from the gang, with some party pics and musical selections from the night.

SAM: We’re all still recovering, processing, and floating on the overwhelming support and encouragement we felt from everyone who came to the second anniversary party last night. Emanuel is headed home this morning and sent us a voice note, and he sounds like he screamed for three hours straight last night. Jason is also headed home, and said he might need to lay down on the airport floor. Signs of a great party if you ask me.

JOSEPH: I just want to thank everyone who came out to our party last night. It was really mindblowing how many people came, but also how engaged everyone was about the work, journalism, tech, and so much else.

The music playing was my playlist which I put together, which some people may have hated but I think it worked :)
