Fierce battle erupts just kilometres from Irish troops in Lebanon war zone

The border town of Bint Jbeil is vital to Hezbollah and Israel is determined to take it. The Israelis have now surrounded it and are intent on having complete control of it in days. The Defence Forces say the 350 Irish troops in the area are safe and accounted for.
