"textContent": "Legendary car rally rolls into Rome on 11 June.\nThe 2026 edition of the Mille Miglia rally will see more than 400 classic and vintage cars travel from the north Italian city of Brescia to Rome and back again this June.\n\nOne of the world’s oldest car rallies, the Mille Miglia began as a race in 1927, taking place 24 times until 1957 and bringing international fame to luxury sports cars including Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche.\n\n\nHistory of the Mille Miglia car race\n\nCelebrating its 44th edition, the five-day event will follow the traditional roundtrip route, from Brescia to Rome and back, between 9 and 13 June.\n\n \n\n\nMille Miglia in Brescia, October 2020.
