I look at
The doctor a'side me,
Concern bestowed be;

"Is he alright?"
"No. Not showing
signs of recovery."

I look back
At the patient,
His eyes of glass

and a doll's expression,
All wrong, crooked.
Then I notice

His face is
Static,
Like mine.
