Downtown Hotel Stays Could Get Pricier Under Proposed Ordinance Designed To Boost Chicago Tourism

Proposal would allow some Downtown hotels to charge a 1.5 percent fee added to the existing 17.5 percent hotel tax to bring in revenue for city marketing.
