It’s not unkind to point out when creators and artists didn’t hold certain values. Being kind to people doesn’t mean you have to support everything they do or take pride in it.

all i did was post an original peanuts piece, to wish people a happy pride month. everyone's entitled to their own beliefs, but saying "he'd be rolling in his grave" and calling people slurs on a positive post IS unkind. and schulz never expressed anti-lgbtq+ views. his work emphasized kindness, empathy, and inclusion, which is why i made the post. i'm trying to make my blog a space that reflects those values, if that doesn't sit right with someone, they're welcome to unfollow.
