Costco’s rotisserie chicken is the same as their “If you raise the price of the fucking hot dog, I will kill you.” 1.50 hot dogs - they’re loss leaders, being there to get you buying them in the hope that meanwhile you’ll also buy some other overpriced shit there.
(and yeah I’m sure they’ll actually cook the chickens that are at or near their expiration date anyway)
