• It was always going to be a tough Game 4. No Jalen Williams. No Ajay Mitchell. That means no secondary or tertiary ball handlers/shot creators/playmakers. Spurs fully healthy and desperate for a win.

• OKC’s first 4 buckets: Hartenstein push shot Hartenstein push shot Hartenstein push shot Hartenstein push shot

• Kenrich Williams and Aaron Wiggins received 1st quarter minutes. OKC had already played 10 players with over 3 minutes to go in the opening frame. JDub and Ajay Mitchell’s absences were very much felt early.

• Stat of the night: Chet Holmgren was a +2 in his 26 minutes in a 21 point loss.

• No JDub nor Ajay + the physicality on SGA + an ice cold night from 3 + the bench coming down to earth = 83 points.

• Spurs fans chanted flopper at SGA yet again. Spurs had shot 6 free throws. OKC had shot 0 free throws.

• Stephon Castle and the Spurs played very physically with tons of contact on SGA. Didn't hear or see much chatter about it on the broadcast nor on social media.

• Spurs leading the free throw battle 32 to 18 does not match the contact and physicality of this game. It’s not at all why San Antonio won but it’s something to watch going forward in this series.

• “Incidental contact” was a funny way for Reggie Miller to describe that Stephon Castle on Aaron Wiggins contact.

• Thunder accomplished the goal of winning 1 in San Antonio.

• Best of 3 series now. 2 of the 3 games in OKC. The injury report will continue to be a big factor. Game 5 in Loud City looms large.
