Chris Wright, the U.S. energy secretary, said Thursday that it was “quite likely the case” that the U.S. Navy could begin escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz by the end of the month, the New York Times reports. Said Wright: “It’ll happen relatively soon, but it cant happen now. We’re simply not ready.”
