Rescue teams reached the site shortly after the alert.\n\n### What caused the building collapse in Lahore?\n\nThe structure was a three-story house where construction work was underway on the third floor. The floor suddenly gave way, sending debris crashing onto the ground floor and into the adjoining street. The collapse happened as heavy rain and windstorms swept Punjab province.\n\n### How many people were injured in the collapse?\n\nRescue workers pulled four injured people from the rubble and took them to Services Hospital in Lahore for treatment.
