The European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, will visit Pakistan on June 1 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The visit centers on co-chairing the 8th EU-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue, the highest-level institutional forum for structured engagement between the two sides, Pakistan's Foreign Office announced Saturday.

The eighth session, co-chaired by Kallas and Dar, will allow both sides to review progress in bilateral relations and discuss regional and international issues of shared concern.
