(GAC Group), marking a significant expansion of Pakistan’s electric vehicle market.\n\nThe partnership will see Lucky Motors introduce GAC’s portfolio of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) to Pakistani consumers.\n\nLucky Motors which already manages brands like Kia and Peugeot in the region.\n\nThe scope of the agreement includes distribution, advanced battery manufacturing, lifecycle management, and the establishment of commercial battery-swapping stations.\n\nGAC Group, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Guangzhou, is a major state-owned Chinese automaker.\n\nA mainstay of the Fortune Global 500 companies, GAC produces vehicles for global brands like Toyota, Honda and Hino, for distribution in the Chinese market.\n\nIn a statement, Lucky Motor Corporation & Lucky Group Chairman Muhammad Ali Tabba said, “This collaboration is of strategic importance for both LMC and GAC. It reflects our long-term commitment to industrial growth, technology transfer, and quality centric automotive ecosystem through partnerships with globally respected manufacturers.”\n\nGAC International Vice President Wang Shunsheng said Pakistan is an “important growth market”.\n\n“Through this partnership, we are committed to expanding rapidly, introducing NEVs with advanced technologies, and delivering exceptional value to customers.”\n\nLucky Motors confirmed that it will announce a formal commercial rollout plan in the coming weeks. This plan is expected to detail the initial product portfolio, specific technology integrations, and the development of a dedicated dealership network across Pakistan.\n\nThe partnership is expected to drive local industrial growth and technology transfer. Lucky Motor’s existing manufacturing facilities, which already assemble vehicles under joint ventures with global parts manufacturers, will be central to the rollout.",
