UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met US Senator Lindsey Graham in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

The talks, held at Qasr Al Shati, focused on the longstanding ties between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation and advancing shared interests.

They also exchanged views on regional developments, including security and stability in the Middle East, and discussed ongoing efforts to support peace initiatives in the region and beyond.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, were present at the meeting, along with several ministers and senior officials.

The UAE president made his first appearance since rumors about his health spread following a now-deleted Turkish presidency statement.

On Wednesday, the presidential court shared video footage of the Emirati president, smiling alongside US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham during a meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
