"textContent": "Hi everyone,\nI am experiencing a critical accessibility issue after updating both my screen reader and my browser to their latest versions. I use NVDA on Windows (AMD64) alongside Google Chrome (Version 149.0.7827.54).\nThe Problem\nWhen I navigate to a password input field where credentials are saved, I use the down arrow key to open and explore the saved accounts dropdown menu. However, NVDA remains completely silent. It does not read any of the items or account names as I arrow through the list.\nIf I press Enter after arrowing down, Chrome prompts me for biometric authentication (fingerprint) or directs me to the password manager. This confirms that the dropdown menu is active and that I am moving through the choices, but NVDA cannot detect or read the text elements inside these autofill boxes.\nThe issue seems specifically tied to how the latest Chrome update handles secure input fields and how NVDA reports dynamic changes inside password autocomplete popups.\nWhat I Have Tried So Far\nForcing NVDA into Focus Mode manually using NVDA + Spacebar.\nVerifying that \"Report dynamic content changes\" is enabled in NVDA speech settings.\nRunning NVDA in safe mode with all add-ons disabled to rule out third-party conflicts.\nNone of these steps resolved the silence in the password dropdown.\nHave any other NVDA or dual-system users encountered this behavior with the recent Chrome updates? If you have found a workaround, a specific Chrome flag to adjust, or an NVDA configuration that fixes this focus loss, please let me know.\nThank you for your help.",
