"textContent": "Welcome to the May 2026 edition of AppleVis Unlimited, your monthly digest of the latest and most notable content on the AppleVis website. This newsletter features a curated selection of community-submitted content, including new app entries, updates, news, and popular discussions. We hope that you find this publication to be both helpful and informative. If you have any questions or feedback about this newsletter, please feel free to reach out using our Contact Form.\n\n### AnonyMouse's App Pick of the Month: VAL: Voice, Alarm & Chimes\n\nIf you have ever tried to find a clock app that actually works well with VoiceOver, you have probably had to settle for less than ideal solutions. VAL: Voice, Alarm \\& Chimes changes that.\n\nVAL is a fully customizable talking and chiming clock for iPhone and Mac, and it was clearly designed with VoiceOver users in mind from the start. It supports spoken time announcements, traditional chimes, and even lets you import your own audio to create something completely personal. You can choose announcements every 15, 30, or 60 minutes, alarms that cut through Focus and silent mode, and Smart Scheduling that switches between clocks automatically based on time, date, or even local sunrise and sunset.\n\nThis one also feels personal to me. I have had some version of a chimes app on my iPhone since the 3GS days, and while those apps got the job done, accessibility was never their strong suit. VAL is the first one I have used that feels like it was actually built for users like me. On top of that, one purchase covers both iPhone and Mac, which makes it an easy recommendation.\n\nThat is why VAL is my App Pick this month. Accessibility done right, deep customization, and real value across both platforms.\n\nRead more about VAL: Voice, Alarm & Chimes here.\n\n### New Apps\n\n#### Dominogue\n\nFrom the App Store:\n\n> Build your domino deck, equip jokers to supercharge your chains, and beat as many rounds as you can!
