google docs on an iPhone

Hi all, I'm using the google docs app on an iPhone se22 with a motorola bluetooth keyboard. It works fine but I'd like to be able to navigate quickly to the end of the document to be sure that I'm adding on and not inserting. I believe the command for this is control plus down-arrow. But every time I try that command, it puts me on one of the format controls instead of moving around the document. Do I have the wrong command? Thanks.
