  "textContent": "Hello applevis community. On Wednesday, I got an email saying my Claude account has been paused because it thought I am a child. In order for me to turn my account back on, I would need to complete the age verification. However, this has not been going well for me; it never recognizes my face, so I cannot actually get my age verified. It just says that it failed to determine my age.\n\nThe age verification link will expire in 28 days from Friday, May 8th, 2026, and I will not be able to appeal the decision anymore. Once that happens, I won't be able to get back into that account ever again. My account has all of my chats and memory in there, and I do not want to have to retrain the AI.\n\nI have already filled out the appeal form, so I am currently awaiting a response.
