anyone played Manamon, from VG storm?

i am trying to play the audio game on Windows, Manamon. but, my sapi 5 voices are not saving and the rate doesn't increase what's going on? also, when i try to use my Eloquence sapi 5 purchased from Code factory, i just get "please register this product" even though it licenced? I just can't work out why i can't use the voice during gameplay, nor why the rate for speech not being saved? any help appreciated. Thank you to all
