"textContent": "Dear AppleVis Community,\n\nWe're writing on behalf of the WeWALK team, and we'd like to share more about WeWALK Smart Cane 2, an advanced mobility tool we've built alongside blind and visually impaired users to support safer, smarter, and more independent travel.\n\nWe know that navigating the world as a blind or low vision person involves a constant stream of challenges that go far beyond finding your way from A to B. It's about staying aware of what obstacles are around you, managing directions, getting to know the surroundings in an unfamiliar space, and doing all of this without relying on others.\n\nSmart Cane 2 was designed with exactly those realities in mind.\n\nThe cane maintains the size and feel of a standard white cane — familiar, discreet, and practical — while integrating technology that adapts to what you need in the moment. There are four usage modes of the Smart Cane 2, starting from the basic to a more advanced mode:\n\nClassic Cane: WeWALK Smart Cane 2 can be used exactly as a standard white cane, with durable materials and full functionality with its Ambutech shaft and high-quality tip.\n\nSafety: With the obstacle detection sensor integrated into Smart Cane 2, obstacles at the upper-body level can be detected. Ultrasonic sensors alert you to obstacles like overhanging branches or open cabinet doors through haptic and/or audio feedback, while a built-in flashlight increases your visibility to others.\n\nNavigation: WeWALK Smart Cane 2 delivers turn-by-turn directions, tracks your destination, provides low-vision mapping, and offers live public transport updates — all controlled from the cane itself, without needing to take out your phone.\n\nAI: WeWALK Smart Cane 2 lets you ask questions out loud to its built-in microphone — such as \"Where's the nearest cafe?\" Or “Can you describe to me the Statue of Liberty?” — and receive audio responses through the cane's built-in speakers or your connected headset.\n\nAll features are accessible via tactile buttons on the handle, keeping your hands free and your phone in your pocket. The cane is also weather-resistant, which matters when you're using it every day, in every condition. Additionally, we would like to highlight that WeWALK Smart Cane 2 is a continuously evolving product with real-time feedback from our community. With regular software and firmware updates, our team is actively improving the device, so you always have the most up-to-date experience.\n\nWe'd also like to share what our users have reported. Based on data from 127 Smart Cane 2 users, the average scores across key dimensions were:\n\nSelf-confidence increase: 8.59 / 10\nSense of independence: 8.53 / 10\nSafe movement: 8.55 / 10\nOverall satisfaction: 8.18 / 10\nLikelihood to recommend: 8.91 / 10\n\nOne finding that stood out to us: 14% of participants had never used a white cane before receiving Smart Cane 2. After using it, every single one of them began using a cane, and 57% adopted it as a daily or frequent mobility tool.\n\nWe also have a limited-time offer for you! In honor of Mother's Day, WeWALK Smart Cane 2 is now $250 off with code MOM250 at checkout. Because we believe that independence is the most meaningful gift that can be given!\n\nIf you've used Smart Cane 2, or if you have questions about how it works, we'd genuinely love to hear from you. Your feedback directly shapes how we continue to develop the product.\n\nYou can learn more at wewalk.io, or reach us at info@wewalk.io.\n\nWeWALK Together!",
