the target accessibility in the last of us 2 game on the PCth

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great time wherever you are. My topic is not new, but I was curious about everyone else’s experiences with The Last of Us Part II on PC. I have been thinking for a while that the accessibility targeting—specifically the auto-aiming option—is somewhat broken, at least on my PC. I feel that when I am aiming, the auto-targeting does not work as well as it should, meaning I have to wait, and sometimes, even when I hear the target indication audio cue, using any weapon does not seem to work. Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I doing something wrong? For context, I am playing the game on an HP laptop with 32 gigabytes of RAM, using a DualSense PS5 controller.
