"textContent": "Hi All,\nAppreciate your thoughts on the Meta Glasses value proposition.\nI currently have a pair of Meta Rayban Gen 1 Glasses. They suit my needs, particularly, when travelling, but I have noticed a marked decrease in battery life and although I have altered some settings I no longer get extended wear out of them.\nConsequently, I am looking to replace the glasses and would appreciate thoughts from the community on which pair.\nRestricting myself to the readily available Meta Products, I note that a pair of Meta Rayban Gen 1s costs approximately 50% of a pair of Meta Rayban Gen 2s and considerably less than 50% of the price of the Oakley Glasses.\nShould I simply save money and stick to the Gen1s?\nDoes anyone have any compelling reasons for me to spend the extra $$ on the other styles?\nMy case use is open ear audio, phone calls, holiday photos and some light AI \"Look and Tell\". Ideally I was hoping to hold out for the rumoured Apple Glasses, but the aggressive battery degradation of my Gen 1s has forced my hand.\nI look forward to your Meta suggestions.\n@SeaNoEvil00",
