Hello everyone, I have been building a roguelike called Dark Frequency and I am at a point where I need real players to interact with the core combat system before I go any further. I am not looking for feedback on story, or progression depth right now. I just need to know if the combat feels good and whether a specific system is working the way it should. Dark Frequency is built around using the game's audio to locate enemies, read their behaviour, and time your responses. Enemies telegraph their attacks with distinct audio cues. Different enemy types have completely different audio signatures. The game is designed to be fully playable without relying on what you see, and I want to know if that is actually landing in practice. What this build contains A combat arena with 2 enemy types, each with distinct audio behaviour Melee combat with a hammer, light attacks, charged attacks, and a radial slam Dash movement for repositioning and avoiding attacks Full spatial audio, enemy positions are communicated through directional sound Drop your feedback in this thread or in the Discord. Android and Windows downloads are available now and require manual installation. iOS requires additional setup on our end and is coming later in development. If you are on iOS, join Discord and I will reach out directly when a build is ready for you. Discord Group: https://discord.gg/RUG2dRpKuZ Downloads: https://unmboxgames.itch.io/darkfrequency
