Issue with latest audible App

Hello everyone, I just updated to the latest audible app. At the bottom of the screen (as has been the case for years) the initial state of the app includes a "mini player". It does not seem possible to double-tap this to expand the player to full-screen. the workaround is to double-tap-and hold, and whilst keeping the finger on the screen, drag upwards towards the top of the device. I'm running this on iOS 18, on an iPhone 13 Pro. Has anyone else encountered this behaviour?
