According to the readout Wang told Araghchi that “The sovereign security and legitimate rights and interests of Iran as a littoral state of the Strait of Hormuz should be respected and upheld; at the same time, freedom of navigation and safety through this internationally used strait must also be guaranteed, and restoring normal passage through the strait is the unanimous call of the international community”
