Stayed: 1 night Price: Approximately โ‚ฌ47 per night (winter offer including spa access)

Camping Grubhof made a great first impression.

Set in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, the scenery is stunning. Unfortunately, a cold front was moving in during our stay, so we only spent one night here and didn't really get the chance to explore the area properly.

I managed a short cycle ride along the valley, but the weather soon encouraged us to move on.

What we did make full use of was the spa. Included in our stay, it was excellent and a real treat after a day on the road. In fact, it was probably the only time I've ever felt overdressed in a swimsuit at a spa! ๐Ÿ˜„

The facilities throughout the campsite were first class. The showers were more like private bathrooms, spotlessly clean and spacious. There were excellent laundry facilities, including washing machines, dryers and a drying room.

The campsite also has a restaurant, bar and shop, with serviced pitches available.

Our Take

A beautiful campsite in a spectacular mountain setting with some of the best facilities we experienced on the trip.

We only stayed one night and didn't get the chance to explore the area properly, but the excellent spa, spotless facilities and stunning surroundings left a lasting impression.

Rating: 10/10

Would we stay again? Absolutely. ๐Ÿ‘

This reads very much like your other reviews and is honest about what you actually experienced rather than what the guidebook says ๐Ÿ˜Š.
