In the end I went anyway (as you do). Dry on the way out… and then the return leg was properly wet and miserable. Never mind — I got my fresh air and my legs moving, and I’m pleased to report I made it home without shrinking_.\n\n_Short outing in_ Matilda _to the bike shop, a good reminder that I can drive and manoeuvre her._\n\n_C_\n\n _Frost first thing, so the walk won. 🥾\nPlanned: 4.83 miles. Actual: 6.33. 😅 Gwyrch Castle was the original route, but the paths are now closed — so we improvised._\n\nPlant _y of variety including a bit of the North Wales Path, two ridiculously muddy fields… and a reminder that a ford is through the water, not over it. U-turn required. 😅_\n\n _A rare night out for us at the Talacre Lighthouse pub. 🎶\nRichard’s friend Scot was on as Buddy Holly — and to be fair, he was really good. We even won first prize in the raffle! Not sure tribute nights are quite my cup of tea… but it was a fun change. Any takers for the disc???_",
