Sony and Arc System Works have officially unveiled the final character team coming to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, introducing Blade, Loki, and Deadpool alongside the previously announced Ghost Rider as the game's fifth and final squad, the Samurai Outriders.

The reveal closed out EVO 2026 on June 28 with a brand-new trailer, giving fans their best look yet at three of Marvel's most unpredictable antiheroes in action while also confirming a new stage, fresh gameplay mechanics, and the game's first global Open Beta.

Unlike Marvel Tōkon's previous closed beta tests, which were invite-only for select PS5 players, the July Open Beta requires no invite. PS5 players can download it directly from the PlayStation Store, while PC players can grab it through Steam or Epic Games with a PSN account, no PlayStation Plus needed. The full game remains a $59.99 paid release at launch on August 6.

The announcement also confirmed the game's first global Open Beta, running July 24 to 26 on PS5 and PC. It offers the clearest picture yet of what Marvel Tōkon's final roster will look like, and it's arguably the game's most unconventional team.

Meet the Samurai Outriders

Unlike teams such as the Avengers or X-Men, the Samurai Outriders aren't built on trust.
