"textContent": "## Shooting update\n\nBank Holiday today in the UK, but I'm preparing for what promises to be an interesting shoot tomorrow. I'm heading up to Selkirk and a venue called The Haining. I'll be meeting up with Portuguese art model, Beatriz and we're hopefully going to create some spectacular art there and in the environs...\n\nThen on Wednesday, it's a first shoot at a local studio to shoot with agency model BillyRA and makeup artist Kelli Cartwright. Expect lush editorials and a couple of cool styled makeup-led looks.\n\n## Today's content\n\nToday, though, we hop back to February of this year and the shoot where I finally worked with the owner of Basford, Leanne, or Miss C as she models.\n\nI guess I could be classed as a bit of a regular at Basford. Even though it's a 4-hour round trip drive away, it's worth it for two reasons. Alice loves the back roads over Woodhead to get there, and it offers a cornucopia of shooting options.\n\nOn offer is the house with a number of rooms and settings, most with great diffused daylight, and extensive grounds with a private wood and stream. And now with what was a derelict outbuilding on my first visit, a purpose-built natural light studio that is stunning. It wasn't yet open on this trip, but I shot with Artemis on our second shoot together a month after this event.\n\nAlthough I'd provided a mood board, Leanne and I pretty much winged it on the day, choosing placements and lighting options once she'd whipped together another look.\n\nFor this set, Leanne donned a white trouser suit and I broke out my newly acquired Profoto Acute packs.\n\nThis set was a kind of two in one as Leanne changed tops part way through so there are 40 images in total for subscribers to access.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
